Hawes is one of the highest market towns in England and famous for its Wensleydale cheese - it can be reached via the Buttertubs Pass which crosses the high moorland between Swaledale and Wensleydale for one of the finest views in Yorkshire.
Grassington has an idyllic spot on the River Wharfe and comes with a cobbled market square that’s full of independent shops and which doubles for Darrowby in ‘All Creatures Great and Small.’
Enjoy 360-degree views from the green in Reeth, the Swaledale village is close to Richmond and surrounded by high hills that make it a popular choice for cycling in the Yorkshire Dales.
