We had a great time at Arbour Hill and will definitely come back. A cosy cottage in a beautiful location with an amazing view and very friendly dogs. This is the perfect hideaway for a romantic weekend. Bedale is a very nice village, do not miss going there. Plenty opportunities for dinner as well.

Lovely little place. Owner was welcoming. Essentials provided for cooking etc. Hot tub was very private and the place, all in all was very nice. It was a lot smaller than I expected from the pictures, but it was still a nice cozy little cottage. Could have done with a living area as its pretty much just a kitchen and bedroom just for a bit of spaceRead more. Apart from that, it was clean, quiet and cozy. Perfect little getaway for 2. Hide

We had a lovely New Years week at the cottage. It was a little hard to find, but arriving in the dark certainly didnt help... nonetheless once we arrived it was lovely! The space is rather small, but cosy to say the least. Lovely welcoming hosts, leaving us fresh bread and eggs for the week - which were great! Tea, sugar, toiletries were all providRead moreed. Unfortunately due to the time of year a lot of the local amenities were closed for the season which was a shame. We still managed to have a nice time though, having scenic walks around the area. The only other real issue we had was that cooker kept on tripping whilst trying to cook which was a little frustrating. All in all though we had a great time, with lots of fresh air at this sweet, peaceful little cottage :) Hide

Great location, great views while sat in the hot tub and out the windows. Located in a village well connected to other major roads and near the A1(M). Cottage was very comfortable, bedding was amazing and the bed itself was one of the most comfortable. Personal favourites are the two black labradors! Would definitely recommend to any couple!

Great location. Larger villages close by for shopping, food, pubs and restaurants. Lots of local walks. Cottage perfect for a romantic stay, watch the sunset from the hot tub. Very comfortable in great surroundings . Hot tub on average 3 hrs to heat but kept warm enough for 2nd day without another fire

Absolutely lovely cottage and surroundings. The countryside here is just so very beautiful! The cottage was fun and the hot tub fab. A bonus would have been a coffee machine but tea and instant coffee was provided.

Amazing place - Karl was wonderfully helpful. There's a 1km dirt track up to the house which we unfortunately couldn't cycle down and had to drive v slowly down to get in and out but other than that couldn't fault it.

Ill start with the negative point as it is the first thing you come across. The mile long farm track from the main road to the cottage is heavily potholed and very muddy when wet. Once you get to the end of it though, everything changes. The farm is beautiful and the cottage is everything and more than is described in the brochure. It is a peacefulRead more, tranquil, high class, high quality getaway. It is as pretty as a picture and is equipped to such a high standard, that you are left wanting for nothing. No expense has been spared on kitting the small, but perfectly formed ex-dovecote out. The hot tub is incredible and will sooth your day away, well worth treating yourself to the drop and dip service. Locally, there is too much to do in a long weekend, so we will be coming back soon.
