Claire greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome and at home. The hamper provided was excellent, The best we have ever had. The cottage was fantastic, like a home from home. The local pub is close and provides well priced hearty meals... 7,50 for a large Sunday roast.. At least 5 slices of meat and enough vegtables for 4 between the 2 of us.. I would highly recommend this cottage especially if you want a chilled week. It is also close to some beautiful villages and the city of York and the coast... You will not regret booking here. Hide

This was our 3rd gorgeous cottage. All have been excellent, Hendricks hollow is special, the provision is generous and really high quality. The weather wasnt great during our stay, it didnt matter, lots of places to visit, very Christmassy, and just lovely to get back to a warm and cosy house.

This was our second holiday at gorgeous Hendricks Hollow. The cottage is beautiful, warm, cosy and spotlessly clean. Clare and Phil are so welcoming and have thought of everything you could possibly need. The log fire was wonderful, the views are gorgeous and feeding bits of carrot to the two miniature Shetland ponies was a joy. A perfect break!
