Spectacular, grand stately home in the stunning North Yorkshire countryside, with ten acres of grounds at your disposal, perfect for larger family and friends’ gatherings.

Situated amongst the dramatic landscape and rolling countryside of North Yorkshire, visitors will have lots to do in the area, enjoying a plethora of attractions to suit all ages and tastes. Sightseers may like to amble around the cobbled streets of Yarm with interesting shops and boutiques to discover. Marvel at the historic architecture of York or visit one of the many historic monuments and buildings which dot the landscape. Sandy beaches and traditional seaside fairs are a simple day trip away with beautiful coastal towns such as Robin Hood Bay and Saltburn to see, the area is also a mecca for wildlife lovers and walkers with a myriad of paths and tracks to navigate including of course the famous Yorkshire Moors. Arriving at this elegant listed stately home through the gated entrance, guests will immediately notice how the impeccable furnishings and decor have stayed true to its historical origins.

Feel amazing as you come through the magnificent entrance hall with open fire and grand staircase to the first floor. Turning to the first of the formal reception rooms, the lounge offers a welcoming place where you can relax after a day out and about exploring the local area, spend time with your friends and family on the comfortable sofas while the open fire roars or catch up with any must see programmes on the smart TV.

Guests could alternatively choose to spend time in the library, a beautiful room with sunlight flooding through the tall windows. This room doubles as the ideal place to dance away the evening and celebrate a special occasion, with the perfect backdrop created by the stunning formal dining room. Comfortably seating all guests and with views out to the private grounds, your dining experience can be enhanced by calling in a private chef and butler to prepare and serve you a wonderful dinner, please note that you will need to book this in addition, in advance. Should less formal dining be required, guests will find the bespoke kitchen, well-equipped to cater for any meal with range of appliances including an Aga, an electric oven and induction hob, three fridges, freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher, as well as a table and centre island on which to grab a bite to eat. Completing the ground floor is a bar area with its own fridge, found at the bottom of the stairs, where guests can have fun creating their favourite cocktails.

Ascending the staircase, you will find the exquisitely furnished, generously sized bedrooms arranged over two floors; all of which have their own individual design and have been named after historical figures connected with the Hall’s rich heritage. On the first floor the bedrooms include, Leven Grove, a super-king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC, Mrs Jordan a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room and WC and Lady Amelia, a further super-king-size bedroom benefiting from a stunning en-suite bathroom with centre bath, separate shower and WC, this bedroom also has a balcony. There is also Lord Falkland, a super-king-size bedroom with additional sofa bed which can accommodate two guests, also with en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Robert Ropner, a king-size bedroom with en-suite wet room with shower and WC and finally, Yvonne Boville, a further king-size bedroom with additional sofa bed, which can accommodation two guests. Completing the first floor is a shower room with shower and WC.

Moving up to the second floor, guests will find the remaining bedrooms which include, Salvin, a king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC, Malbrough, a further king-size bedroom, there is also a separate shower room located across the hallway with shower and WC. There is also Horman, a king-size bedroom with additional sofa bed accommodating two guests and an en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC, Jack Broome, a king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom, with bath, separate shower and WC, and Carey, another king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath and WC and finally, Isabella, a family room with two double beds and an en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. Completing the accommodation is Captains, a tower room located on the third floor, accommodating a king-size bed with en-suite bathroom with bath and WC.

For those who enjoy spending any downtime outdoors, there are seven acres of mature grounds in which the stately home sits and  guests may make use of the wide open spaces for picnics, a spot of croquet or simply running off any excess energy. Enjoying delightful walks, you might come across the resident peacocks or discover the River Leven, while children will no doubt love the treehouse and swing. There is ample off-road parking for 30 cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
