This cottage was so comfortable and well equipped, the owners have thought of everything. They had left groceries to help us settle in. We had a great walk from the cottage to Knaresborough and there were lovely villages and towns just a short drive away. We highly recommend this as a lovely place to stay.

A lovely compact cottage to sleep two couples very comfortably. Beautifully decorated and wonderfully clean. Great location for exploring North Yorkshire. Warm and cosy on a very wet and blustery weekend. Very helpful and welcoming hostess.

We could not rate this property highly enough. It was quiet, tastefully decorated and, with a luxurious bed, walk-in shower and fluffy towels, on a par with a luxury hotel. Catherine had provided a more than ample supply of essentials and also a generous, and much appreciated, welcome pack of quality food items. Catherine was the perfect host leavRead moreing us to get on with our holiday but assuring us that she was readily available if need be. We would, without doubt, return to this property. Hide

The cottage is beautifully presented with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The location is central to York and most other areas of interest, we needed more time to fit everything in. I would definitely book this cottage again in the future.
