A contemporary and comfortable home from home, ideal for gatherings with loved ones and celebrating special occasions, benefitting from great access to town, country and coast.

Perched above Robin Hood's Bay in the North York Moors National Park, there is plenty to explore near and far. Venture down into the picture-postcard village and wander along the front. The revitalising sea air and sounds of lapping waves are a pleasant accompaniment to strolls along the beach, and later a number of shops and cafes provide treats for the eye and tum. 4.5 miles, Falling Foss waterfall and tea gardens are definitely worth a visit, as is Whitby, only 5 miles away.

Heading inside, the holiday vibe sets in straight away. Leave your worries at the door and let your feet pad across oak floors, moving to the lounge. A spacious room with two comfortable sofas and a wood burner effect gas fire, a warm, inviting ambience is immediately palpable. Curl up with your favourite page-turner or switch on the TV. Offering a TV/DVD with Netflix, as well as traditional board games, you can find something the whole family will enjoy. Kitted out with everything you could need to stir up your culinary piece de resistance, the kitchen is an attractive room complete with small dining table. Including an oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and all sorts of pots, pans and utensils, you can create brilliant breakfasts, light lunches and hearty dinners to keep the whole troop going. For extra convenience, there is also a utility/boot room with a washing machine, dryer and additional fridge. To lend more of a sense of occasion to meals, there is also a dining room in addition to the kitchen table. Here, sunlight floods the room in the day and views of the village can be enjoyed. When tiredness kicks in, three bedrooms can be found upstairs. The master bedroom has a cast-iron double bed and an en-suite bathroom with huge free-standing bath – a tempting proposition after a long day sightseeing. The second bedroom is a pretty twin room great for children and the third bedroom (located on the top floor) has a double bed and sofa. A family bathroom is located on the first floor and is home to a large walk-in shower and WC. On street parking is available close to the cottage.

We were provided with everything we needed. The cottage was modern and well maintained. The location was good for local facilities, i.e. shop and pub. Whitby and Scarborough are in a short drive and well served with a bus service, the bus stop about 10 meters from the door. The area is good for walking, Robin Hood Bay and the beach in easy reach.

Excellent cottage with everything that you needed. I stayed here with my wife, 10 month old daughter and father in law, we all agreed that we wanted for nothing. The walk in to Robin Hoods Bay was lovely and only took 10 minutes. We tried the pub opposite for Sunday lunch, again this was really good and a stones throw from the cottage. I wouldnt heRead moresitate in booking this accommodation again in the future. Thank you. Hide

A beautiful and well-proportioned house, homely feel. Great for a small group of people or a family. Well positioned in the village and good access by road to other towns and villages. Places to walk to. A gentle holiday, it was lovely.

A very cosy and comfortable home. Description was very honest and accurate. Location superb - just 10/15 min walk down to the bay.Heating and hot water system all v efficient. Handy to have a small room between external door and kitchen that can be kept cooler. Kitchen well equipped - the cooker handled Xmas day very well! Good to have a separate dRead moreining room for special meals. Bedrooms pleasant, and have lovely views. Only one shower (and its a low-through-put electric one) but we coped. Sitting room is small - it accommodates 4 easily but 6 is a bit of a squeeze. Fire is gas imitation log fire, but it pumps out heat effectively! Recommended! Hide

Great location very clean & well equipped. We all found stairs difficult to climb as very steep & unsuitable for children, the elderly & anyone disabled. Overall a good stay in a lovely area. Pub opposite served great food & bus stop outside for regular buses to Whitby & Scarborough.

The cottage was ideally situated just a short walk from Robin Hoods Bay. No problems parking at this time of year. Nice and cosy - a very well equipped house, the kitchen in particular has everything you could need. The scones and cake left for our arrival were lovely and just what was required. Would definitely stay here again.
