Stunning five-star property sleeping two guests, an idyllic location for a romantic getaway in beautiful North Yorkshire, within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales and the North Yorkshire Moors.

This property is situated in the village of Sinderby in North Yorkshire, just a short drive from the cathedral city of Ripon. This attractive town is not only home to the magnificent cathedral, but also is home to a range of interesting sights and attractions, including the Workhouse Museum, Fountains Abbey, and Ripon Spa Gardens. The city is also on the Way of the Roses cycle route, offering traffic free cycling through some spectacular countryside, passing many interesting sights. Slightly further afield, but still within easy driving distance, there are plenty of other places of interest to keep visitors busy including Lightwater Valley Theme Park, the spa town of Harrogate, and the Yorkshire Outdoors outdoor pursuits centre.

This five-star, single storey property makes an excellent choice for a couple’s break, offering far more space and privacy than a hotel room, making for a more relaxing break. On arrival at the contemporary cottage, guests will come first to the impressively spacious lounge/kitchen/diner, with its large floor-to-ceiling windows and vaulted ceiling. In the lounge area there is plenty of comfortable seating which is arranged so that guests can easily relax and unwind in front of the cosy wood burner and TV/DVD. At the other end of the room, the kitchen area has a large dining table seating six and is well-equipped to a high standard with a Range-style oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. The bedroom, like the living area, is generously-sized and offers a king-size bed which can be made up as a twin on request, as well as a Smart TV, and a sanctuary-like en-suite bathroom with a shower-over-spa bath and WC. Robes are also provided.

Outside, the property enjoys a patio with a table, chairs, and a BBQ, which provides the perfect space for enjoying the property’s tranquil surroundings. Guests are also welcome to explore the owner’s farm, following a designated route which takes in the hen house where guests are able to collect fresh eggs. There is off-road parking provided.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet village. Lovely owners. Welcomed with lemon drizzle cake freshly made. Went down well after a long journey. Good base for exploring the area. Would certainly recommend Wyandotte .

It's perfect. The cottage is decorated to a high standard, everything works, everything you need is there, it's got underfloor heating, it's a beautiful place to stay with lots of places to visit around.

The cottage is 5 star property. It ideal for people with walking problems, needing a wheel chair as there are no steps to worry about. The cottage is well placed in the village looking out over the village green. Easy access to the farm and the chicken run for the free eggs from the owners.

The cottage was well located, clean, warm and with all the modern comforts. Our stay felt welcome and relaxing. Our daughter loved the daily visits to the chickens for fresh eggs.

The cottage was everything and more than we expected! Would thoroughly recommend this for anybody who wants to get away from it all. Village quiet with no shops, Public Houses or Restuarants which is worth bearing in mind when you book.

As one of party was in a wheelchair it was easy to get about with plenty of room. Tv in bedroom was a bonus with Netflix.Fresh eggs in the morning as you can collect your own. Lovely welcome on arrival, with yummy lemon drizzle cake,tea,coffee,milk to get you going. Plenty utensils for cooking. It was like home to home. This is a very nice cottage furnished to a very high standard. It made an excellent base for a holiday and the owner made us very welcome and even offered fresh eggs on a help yourself basis from the hen run. It is a place we will certainly return to again.
