Sleeping five, it's a nice fit for a growing family. The well-furnished living room is comfortable place for the family to relax at the end of an active day. There's also a great dining room set-up and fully-fitted kitchen fit for a top chef. The bedrooms afford nice views across the estate on the upper level - for convenience there is a family bathroom for use too with shower and bath.

A great base for those who love the outdoors with many treks and trails in the area.  A wealth of National Trust properties are easily reached including Nostell Priory and Parkland, Hardcastle Crags, East Riddlesden Hall and Lyme Park to name but a few. The small town of Holmfirth is close by.

Main stairs up very steep, potential customers should be aware of this. Also site fails to mention the cottage is part of the derelict stables buildings, not very attractive. Also wall between living room and one bedroom of this and adjacent cottages very thin. On the plus side, comfortable and in a beautiful setting.

I think this cottage is hugely over priced for the standard and quality provided. It should be made clear that it is a very basic standard. I would not have booked it had I realised this. Also foul smell on staircase that could not be masked with air freshener which was suggested as solution!
