This lovely traditional stone house retains much of its original charm and character and is a perfect destination of exploring the historic village of Haworth and the northern Pennines.

This charming stone semi-detached house is perfect for visiting the home of the famous Bronte family. Immerse yourself in the wild and inviting moors that surround this beautiful house, you can practically hear the echoes of the Bronte’s walking the cobbled streets up to The Parsonage. As well as spectacular walking trails Haworth boasts a world-famous railway, imagine you’re in ‘The Railway Children’ location for the film. Further afield you have the towns of Keighley, terminus for the Worth Valley Railway, Bingley on the edge of Ilkley Moor and Saltaire to wonder at the David Hockney Gallery in Salts Mill.

Entering the property you will find the lounge where you can relax in front of the open fire to watch the Sky TV or film on the DVD player. Going through into the kitchen you will find it is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, a gorgeous wood burner to keep you cosy, and afterwards let the dishwasher do all the work for you. Heading upstairs to the first landing you will find a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. Head up the next staircase which leads to the third double bedroom.

From the kitchen, you can head out to the patio. Heading outside you with find an enclosed patio with seating and a BBQ. A stone built outhouse which houses the washing machine and tumble dryer and also plenty of storage space of bikes. There is roadside parking (with permit) available outside the property for one car, further parking for an additional car is available at the end of the terrace.

Dogs fees are charged per dog at £20.00 for up to 7 nights, £40.00 for up to 14 nights and an additional £20.00 for every week or part week thereafter.

Comfortable cottage near centre of Haworth, on main road to village (steep uphill walk). Pleasant park over the road, handy for taking dogs for short walk. parking can be difficult in Haworth if visitors have more than 1 car (parking permit outside house for 1 car was provided ). Lovely area.

Our party of 5 had a great time at this cottage and in Howarth overall. The cottage was very homely, cosy and warm which made it a really lovely place to spend time. Great value for money. Would definelty stay again.

Lovely stay at Withens House. Its really well equipped with everything we needed and in a great location. Very close to Main Street and the train station. The house is opposite a lovely park which was an added bonus for us with our two young children. The village itself is great with lovely shops, cafes and pubs and people were very friendly. Lovely Cottage, it was like home from home, very cosy though spacious too, there was 5 of us and 2 dogs, I wish we could of stayed longer. The cottage had everything we needed even down to fresh bread, milk and butter on arrival. Beautiful place!!
